what we have done

Save the Youths International is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting mental health and combating addiction among young people. Since its inception, our organization has worked tirelessly to sensitize young people and communities to the risks of addiction and the importance of mental health. In this article, we will present the activities we have recently carried out to achieve our objectives.

A 4 months sensitization program

within 4 months, in the city of Yaoundé we organized a field work to sensitize young people to the importance of mental health and the dangers of addiction. this action was call “save mind program” Our goal was to sensitize 5,000 young people, and we are proud to have achieved this figure.

During this field work, we visited several schools and youth centers to promote our save mind program and sensitize young people to the risks of addiction and the benefits of mental health. We also distributed sensitization materials such as posters, brochures, and t-shirts to help young people remember the importance of mental health. we are satisfy of the save mind program.

Virtual Exchange Forum

during the international women day, We also organized a virtual exchange forum on the theme “Young Women, Addiction, and Empowerment: Understanding and Acting”. This forum brought together multidisciplinary professionals and young students who exchanged their experiences and ideas on how to combat addiction, drug abuse among young women and promoting save mind.

During this forum, we discussed the challenges that young women face when confronted with addiction, and we explored strategies to help them overcome these challenges and encourage young women empowerment. We also presented testimonials from young women who have successfully overcome addiction and rebuilt their lives.

Massive Communication Campaign

We launched a massive communication campaign on mental health and the damage caused by drugs abuse in young and school environments. We used visuals on social media to sensitize young people and communities to the risks of addiction and the importance of mental health and promote save mind.

During this campaign, we published save mind messages, images, and videos to sensitize young people and communities to the risks of addiction and the importance of mental health. We also used hashtags to help young people share their experiences and ideas on mental health and addiction.

Organization of Youth Football competition

Save the Youths International organized a series of youth football marches aimed at promoting physical and mental health among young people, as well as raising awareness about the risks of addiction and risky behaviors.

These youth football competition brought together young people from different schools and communities, who were able to play football and participate in awareness-raising activities on mental health and addiction.

The objectives of these youth football marches were:

  • Promote physical and mental health among young people
  • Raise awareness among young people about the risks of addiction and risky behaviors
  • Encourage young people to adopt healthy and positive behaviors
  • Provide a space for socialization and meeting for young people
